An Enrollment Monitoring Committee (EMC) has been established by the District 220 School Board. The EMC will monitor enrollment at the district's schools and develop redistricting recommendations as necessary to minimize overcrowding in schools.
The EMC is currently looking at Elementary school enrollment issues. If necessary, the EMC will present redistricting proposals to the School Board at a January 2008 meeting. Any recommendations ultimately accepted by the Board would be effective beginning in the 2008-2009 school year.
